The food security project aims at ensuring self-sustainability in feeding our children and at the same time generating income through the sale of surplus. Through the practice of Organic farming, where we avoid the use of harmful chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers, growth hormones, etc., we ensure that the children are fed on highly nutritious farm produce as we contribute positively to environmental conservation. Through training and the provision of Vertical Vegetable Gardens to vulnerable families and the community at large, the organization creates safety nets to safeguard basic means for survival.
